Policies

Reservation and booking policies:

Age Requirements: Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book a room at Caribe Cove. On arrival, the lead guest must be at least 21 years of age to check-in, and have government issued identification showing proof of identity and age.

Credit Card and Deposit Policy: A major credit card must be presented at check-in to cover any incidental charges. A preauthorized damage deposit charge of $250 will be completed at check-in, and cancelled on check-out subject to confirmation of no room damage or missing items.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 3 days prior to arrival result in a cancellation charge equal to one night's accommodation at the booked rate, plus tax. Arrival date changes within 3 days prior to arrival may be allowed without additional charge over non-peak periods at the resort's discretion, subject to availability.

Departure Cleaning Fee: At Caribe Cove, guests will enjoy all the comforts of luxury vacation condos. This deluxe home away from home experience requires a one-time departure cleaning fee of $80 payable locally at the resort on arrival.

Taxes: All bookings are subject to 13% sales tax.  Sales tax rates are subject to change.

Pets and Pet Boarding: Sorry, pets are not allowed at Caribe Cove. However, pet boarding is readily available at the Four Corners Animal Hospital, located on Highway US-27, about 5 minutes from Caribe Cove. For pet boarding inquiries, please call the Four Corners Animal Hospital during normal business hours at: (352) 242-1950. Caribe Cove is not responsible for any matters relating to pet boarding. Unauthorized pets at Caribe Cove will result in a minimum $200 additional cleaning charge and eviction from the resort. The no pets policy does not apply to service animals assisting guests with special needs.
Smoking:All buildings and guest condos are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas only, such as patios and balconies. Smoking in guest condos will result in a minimum $200 additional cleaning charge.

General: We do not accept any liability for injury, damage or loss caused by any reason or for any claim made as a result of this booking and/or your subsequent holiday. This waiver applies to all guests included on the Reservation Form and to any person visiting the property as your guest.

Guest services
•Telephone Calls: each condo has a telephone. Telephone calls within the Resort are FREE, however, other calls not made on a calling card will be charged to you. A copy of the charge rates can be found in the condo.
•Transport to the Theme Parks: Caribe Cove operates a transport service to Disney, Seaworld and Universal. The shuttle must be booked with Reception 24 hours in advance. If used, the fare will be added to your bill to be paid on your departure.
•Entry to Premises: authorized employees or repairmen may enter the premises during business hours for any purpose connected with the repair, improvement, care, and management of the premises. The guests permission will be sought prior to entry, however, such permission must be granted

Smoking Policy
•For your comfort, all Villas are non-smoking. There is a minimum $200 additional cleaning fee for smoking in a villa.
